Get Podcasts

One of the great things about podcasts is that you can listen to them while you’re on the go—just like you listened to your favorite music and disc jockeys on a portable radio.

The Other Subscription

To listen to Out Of My Mind on your smartphone, subscribe to it. This is different than subscribing to the blog. A podcast subscription automatically finds each new episode. You don’t get an email. The episode is just there. So even if you’re a blog subscriber, it makes sense to also subscribe to the podcast.

I know. It’s an unfortunate choice that both a blog subscription and a podcast subscription use the same word for different results. But, nobody asked me first, so here we are.

If you don’t already have a podcast app installed on your Android phone, the easiest way to listen to Out Of My Mind is by using the Google Music app. It’s icon looks like this.

If you don’t have the app installed, visit the Google Play Store. Here’s the icon.

Search for “Google Music” (without the quotes) and install the app.

Once you have the app installed, open it, scroll down to podcasts and search for “Out Of My Mind” (again without the quotes), touch the + symbol on the right to subscribe.

Now What?

Your podcast app or Google Music automatically checks for new episodes of Out Of My Mind. Tap on the logo (the little man with two heads) to see a list of every episode, from the newest all the way back to season one.  Listen to whatever you want whenever you want.

And, with most podcast apps, you can browse the web, handle your email, or do other tasks, while the show plays in the background.
